Where the prestigious Nerello Mascalese was born, in the County of Mascali, on the side of Etna overlooking the sea, this rare white wine is made with black grapes. Vinified in steel with soft pressing of whole grapes, cold sedimentation and fermentation at 16°. It ages in bottle for a minimum period of 6 months. The power of a red with the elegance of a white. An unforgettable wine.

Characteristic

  • Colour: luminous straw-yellow

  • Bouquet: the nose recalls clear and recognizable hints of white peach, white mulberry, cedar peel, broom, cut grass and an unmistakable hint of custard

  • Taste: in the mouth it is dry, warm and soft, with a wonderful envelopment on the palate, excellent freshness and great balance. Long persistence, pleasant fruity sensation on the finish. Mineral like only the soil of the highest active volcano in Europe can offer.

  • Food pairings suggestions: sushi, fish with intense flavours, fine white meat, fried seafood. Excellent also to sip alone.
