The historian Paolo Diacono in the story “Historia Longobardum” so said: “the losers became the Lombards’ tributaries, conceding as hosts the third part of their goods…” . Today, Lombardi, descendin from that bloddline that settled in the early Middle Ages on the land that was on-third yielded to the invader (Ter-Solum or trecoli), practices that ancient wine activity with the application of modern methods.

Wine processing

  • Vinification: controlled temperature fermentation, then batonnage on the noble lees and aging in barrels for at least six months


  • Colour: pale yellow with greenish reflections

  • Scent: Floral (white and yellow flowers) endemic spices (thyme and oregano)

  • Taste: fresh, solid structure, lasting, fine and elegant

  • Side dish: perfect for cocktails, trofie with Pesto alla Genovese, brandacujun, with all the fish and the general Ligurian cuisine

  • Temperature: 10° – 12°
