Petite Arvine grows at 550 metres a.s.l. in the Rovettaz vineyard, which features sharp inclination and it’s exposed to the south, enjoying remarkably dry and windy climate; we have chosen to adopt strictly eco-compatible agronomic techniques in this area.

  • Soil: Very sandy, slightly calcareous, really dry and with steep slope (> 70%)

  • Growing: Guyot on “ciglioni”

  • Year of installation: 1985 to 2010

  • Farming operations: Both mechanical and manual, with techniques allowed in the organic farming. No use of insecticides, nor acaricides, and not even chemical weeding are performed. Manuring is performed just with organic substances (manure)

  • Harvesting: First decade of October

Wine processing

  • Vinification: In white, with the use of yeasts directly selected on our vineyards

  • Aging refinement: 70%: 6 months on stainless steel “sur lie”30%: 6 months in barrique. On both cases batonnage is performed twice a week in the period between November and December

  • Bottling: June, July

Characteristic

  • Colour: Bright straw-yellow colour

  • Perfume: Intense bouquet, floral notes and citrus sensations, especially of pink grapefruit

  • Flavor: Good sapidity and well balanced acid structure

  • At table: Good accompaniment to starters, white meats and fish

  • Longevity: The wine lends itself well to a bottle aging up to 5/6 years
