Rosé wine made from pure, hand-picked Aglianico grapes, exclusively from the Barile area. After a soft pressing, the must, separated from the skins, ferments for 10/12 days with the help of selected yeasts in stainless steel tanks at low temperature.

  • Vinification: Rosé wine made from pure, hand-picked Aglianico grapes, exclusively from the Barile area. After a soft pressing, the must, separated from the skins, ferments for 10/12 days with the help of selected yeasts in stainless steel tanks at low temperature

Characteristic

  • Visual analysis: Claret pink with copper highlights. Clear, consistent. Slight visible perlage

  • Olfactory analysis: Intense and complex nose. The fruity note of red berries is dominant: hints of cherry, raspberry, redcurrant, cranberry and black cherry are present, as well as citrus notes such as grapefruit and orange. Wilted flowers such as hibiscus and geranium and sweet spices including cinnamon and vanilla
    are perceived


  • Taste analysis: Slightly sweet and slightly mellow wine. Pleasant and fresh drink, characterised by a present but very well balanced acidity. The red fruits identified in the olfactory examination can be found again. Lovely sapidity and good persistence. High alcohol content (13%), but very well integrated

  • Pairing: A versatile wine, to be served throughout a meal with both delicate meat dishes and fish, even raw. It goes well with pizza, fried and grilled dishes. Also ideal to serve as an aperitif

  • Serving temperature: 12-15 °C
