  • Grapes: 100% Nero D’Avola

Wine processing

  • Vinification and refinement: After destemming, the grapes are left to macerate at controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks for about 10 days undergoing repeated pumping over and delestage. After malolactic fermentation, 50% of the wine passes into second passage barriques for 12 months, while the rest is aged in tanks.
    After bottling, the wine continues its aging in bottle for another 6 months before being released on the market.


  • Color: ruby red with violet reflections

  • Perfume: fearfulness and elegance, with a succession of spices, flowers and red fruits on the nose

  • Taste: alcohol balanced with purebred tannins and marked minerality, a wine that can evolve for years

  • Pairings: Elegant meat and cheese are the ideal accompaniments

  • Serving temperature: 16° – 18°C

  • How to serve: large glasses
