DELAI producer’s sheet
Wine produced with Marzemino grapes (85%) to which selected bunches of Sangiovese and Barbera have been added. It’s velvety-red color is accompanied by an intense and spiced fragrance.
The use of Marzemino on the Brescia’s bank of Lake Garda loses in the past. In this area this grape variety is able to express two completely different faces. The grapes produced in middle mixture or clayey lands bring to the production of wines of great herbaceous aromatic intensity, very elevated alcoholic gradations and a very strong structure. In sandy and calcareous terrains it shows, instead, a very delicate face, with fruity and spiced fragrances and a less aggressive tasty profile. Our winery produces this wine from the union of grapes coming from different terrains in the search of equilibrium among strength, rudeness and delicacy. A light withering of grapes on drying racks (of about fifty days) adds further points to the aromatic complexity. Wine with considerable aging potential.
To serve at a temperature of 16/18°C.
