Benaco Bresciano Rosso Fronsaga – DELAI

DELAI producer’s sheet

This wine is produced with Merlot (85%) Barbera e Rebo (15%). Surely Fronsaga is the top class wine of our winery. It’s characterized by a wine mixture which is out of the schemes for the Lake Garda’s area and presents features of old fashioned.
Its color is loaded ruby-red, a wine with a great structure and an aromatic profile based on earthy aromas with spiced sweet notes and jam of plums and cherry.
The alcoholic gradation is notable, even if at tasting it’s not evident because of the great gustatory equilibrium.
The production technique foresees the late grape-picking of the grapes with manual harvest and accurate selection, besides the withering of them for about fifty days. After vinification it is set to mature in small oak French barrels, for at least 18 months. Wine with considerable aging potential.
To serve at a temperature of 16/18°C.
