The name comes from the location of the vineyard, in the locality of Costa del Duca in the municipality of Castelvenere. Vinified alone, it is a complex wine with great personality, good alcohol content and high structure.

  • Refinement: The malolactic fermentation takes place in oak barrels, where it lasts for about 6 – 8 months. Then it completes its aging in bottle

  • Maturation: The bunches, hand picked and transported in perforated crates, are selected, destemmed and pressed. Fermentation takes place with strictly controlled temperature, not exceeding 26 º C and with a duration of about 25 days in maceration with the skins

Characteristic

  • Organoleptic examination: The wine has a garnet red color. The aromas are intense and complex, bringing us back to ripe red fruits, spices with a slight toasted background. The palate is soft, enveloping, structured and balanced, characterized by a high gustatory persistence The taste is enveloping and intense, with the presence of important tannins. Garnet red color.
