The origins of Travignoli are very ancient, in fact an Etruscan stele dating back to 500 BC was found on the estate, but the first mention of Travignoli in documents dates back to 1.100, in a parchment of the Vallombrosa Monastery. In 1800 the Fattoria di Travignoli became the property of the Busi family. The company is located in Tuscany just 25 km east of Florence, in the Chianti Rufina area, at an altitude between 200 and 400 meters. The company has a total area of 90 hectares of which 60 are vineyards and 20 are olive groves.
