Starting in 1960, Filippo Cuffaro began to buy the same land where he was born and raised with his family and to plant vineyards. Lands that are characterised by their fertility and that enjoy an enviable south-east exposure, between Agrigento and Realmonte, 300 m above sea level and surrounded by hills: the exposure to the sun and excellent ventilation make the vines and grapes naturally healthy. Thus, over the years, Tenute Cuffaro was born: 13 hectares cultivated with vines. Filippo is now a grandfather, and together with his son Rosario and granddaughter Anna, they decided to make their own wine in 2016.
