Poggio Mori is a small, organic family farm in Sarteano (SI) in Tuscany. Initially the vineyards consisted of Sangiovese, Colorino, Canaiolo and Trebbiano. In 2007, thanks to the enologist Andrea Franchetti, Bordeaux vines were introduced. We chose the high-density plant, with 8800 vines per hectare, trained with the guyot system. In the vineyard the yields per hectare are deliberately kept low, we are focused on quality, not quantity. All the work in the vineyard is done manually so that each plant receives the utmost care.
