About us

The Winery Podere Casina was born after the purchase of an abandoned farm in the Maremma hills by the couple Rahel Kimmich and Marcello Pirisi. The company focuses on the organic cultivation of the 11 hectares of vineyards that have been planted since 1998. Harvesting of grapes by hand, vinification at controlled temperatures thanks to indigenous yeasts, and aging mainly in cement vats create wines of pleasant elegance. The wines from the best plots of land are refined in wood for 12 months.
