Founded in 1907, the Kellerei St. Pauls is one of South Tyrol’s oldest wine co-operatives. Its 200 members cultivate some 185 hectares of vineyards, with their efforts and unity of purpose combining to produce grapes of outstanding quality. The wide variety of soils, their rich mineral content (a gift of the nearby Dolomites), the quality of the light and the broad range of individual vineyard locations all mean that the grapes regularly ripen to perfection, producing single-variety wines of an elegance that reflects the characteristics of a land that seems made for winegrowing.
