About us

Il Monte Caro is a farm located in Mezzane di Sotto Valley. It was born in 1986 when Enzo Marcolini visited the Mount for the first time and dreamt a life surrounded by nature. His love for this place has been passed down to his children, Emanuela and Giorgio. From 2014 we produce genuine wines that tell the story of their land as well as we take care of olive trees and few beehives. Organic farming has been used to enhance the vitality of the soil. All operations are done manually and our wines ferment spontaneously, without chemical additives.
