About us

The property covers the area north of the province of Teramo which is located between the towns of Controguerra and Nereto, 300 m above sea level, midway the Apennines and the Adriatic sea. This is the place where in 1890, Nicola Illuminati founded the winery well known as “Nico’ Farm”. Today, sharing the same enthusiasm inherited by his grandfather Nicola, the Illuminati family – five generations – cultivates its 130 hectares vineyard stretching between the light blue of the Adriatic Sea and the magnificent Gran Sasso mountain.
