Còlpetrone is one of the most important winery of Sagrantino di Montefalco area. Sagrantino is an indigenous variety of this area, one of the oldest in Italy and the richest in tannins and polyphenols. In the vineyards highly qualitative trellising systems are adopted, with yields that do not overcome 60 quintals per hectare, below the 80 quintals allowed by the regulations. Among the wines the latest is Ò by Còlpetrone, released in a truly limited edition: Ò meaning the sound of amazement at having found such an important vineyard!
