The Cantine Santa Barbara, owned by the Giorgiani family, are located in the province of Brindisi, exactly in San Pietro Vernotico. The oenologist and owner Pietro Giorgiani, assisted by his daughters Maria Rosaria and Marcella, has always been keen to enhance the native vines of Negroamaro, Malvasia Nera and Primitivo. In 1998, always in the wake of the enhancement of the territory and tradition, he was the first to start the recovery of Susumaniello, a vine that today receives a lot of attention also on foreign markets.
