By Carema the time seems suspended as its miracolous, biblical and tiresome to grow vineyards. Wooden pergolas supported by stone pillars and arranged on terraces split: stuff that just looking comes you goosebumps. The “Cantina dei Produttori Nebbiolo di Carema” born in the 1960 on the initiative of a dozen local vine-growers and now gets to count about almost a hundred members, often owners of small vineyards. That of Carema (wine) and of Carema (city) is a history of mountain resistance, collective tenacity and slow, gradual, inexorable affirmation.
