“Bredasole”, a toponym found on a map of the Napoleonic real estate register of 1810, is the last outpost of Franciacorta land overlooking Lake Sebino. In the Ghibelline Castle of Paratico, according to the ancient tradition, Dante Alighieri would have found hospitality, around 1311, and there he was inspired by the shape of this hill to conceive the structure of the “Purgatory”. It is our desire to link history and poetry with the application of the most up-to-date winemaking techniques. In fact, considering the vineyard as a hilly landscape element rather than a simple “factory” of grapes, is the basis of convinced adherence to organic production regulations.
